Music, Dancing, Fireworks, and More!

Reunions is a festival of all things Reed, showcasing the talents of alumni and friends of the college. This page stars just some of our entertainment, for an exhaustive list of everything we have to offer, see the full schedule.

This year we have:

Stop Making Sense Live Show

Saturday from 10:15 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Of course, David Byrne isn't a Reedie (his loss), but Reedies love to pack the Student Union and dance to this classic. This year, we proudly welcome Tom Morrison ’10 and LDW (Life During Wartime) to perform a live performance of the Talking Heads’ film Stop Making Sense.

Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Saturday's afternoon Carnival is fun for the whole family. Children (and those young at heart) will enjoy juggling, face painting, balloon artists, games, and more.

Talent show

Saturday from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Whether you're a former finalist on Southeast Portland's Got Talent or someone who last got on stage in 4th grade, come show off at the Reunions Talent Show on Saturday night. We've showcased poets, singers, banjo players, pianists, comedians, and even jugglers, all in a fun, supportive atmosphere. Heck, come read the racy parts of your Chem thesis!

Saturday at 10 p.m.
A yearly tradition and the capstone of Reunions: a ten minute extravaganza of explosive light on Saturday night. You don't want miss it.

And more!

Please check back for updates as we coordinate with class committees and magic makers.
