Olde Reed beckons...

Celebrate your 50th!

Welcome back to Reed, class of 1969!

Your 50th Reunion Committee has planned several events for you and the class of ’69 over Reunions Weekend both on campus and off. For those who cannot come, you can celebrate from afar by submitting to the class album. See who has signed up so far.

Below is a list of key information and special events for the 50th Reunion. See the entire Reunions schedule by clicking here.

A special thank you to the Class of 1969 50th Reunion Committee for their months of work: Gay Walker ’69, chair, Tom Craven ’69, Tom Giese ’69, Nora Lehnhoff ’69, and Janet Neuburg ’69.

Ways to Celebrate your 50th Reunion:

Have you registered? Reserve your dorm room, purchase event and meal tickets, and let others know you’re coming. The Friday 50th Reunion Class Dinner requires prepayment, so please be sure that you register in advance. You can register online or by calling 503/777-7589.

The 50th Reunion committee is compiling a 50th Reunion Class Album. Even if you cannot make it to campus in June, you can still participate in sharing memories and reconnecting with your class.

Submit a brief essay about what you’ve been doing for the last 50 years, about your family and passions, travels and creations (no more than two pages). A photograph or two would be most welcome, either embedded or separately. This album will be made available at Reunions in hard copy and online (behind the alumni login and password).

Please send your writing attached as a Word document or as a PDF to Gay Walker ’69 at walkerg@alumni.reed.edu by May 10. Don’t email? Mail your submission to Alumni Programs, 2859 SE Woodstock Blvd, Portland, OR 97202.

Your 50th Reunion is an opportunity to reflect on what a Reed education and your classmates have meant to you and your life. We hope that you will consider this moment to make a meaningful gift to the college to support current and future Reed students. Please consider a gift to the Annual Fund to support the college’s current priorities and a legacy gift that will support Reed’s future.
